The high resolution 31P NMR spectra of heart extracts (see also tissue extracts) from WT (bottom) and TGiNOS/myo-/- (top) display a quite similar pattern as the spectra obtained in vivo – also in ex vivo spectra of transgenic hearts the substantial reduction of the PCr level is detectable.
